Itinerary

Day 1:Marrakech - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Dades Valley

The adventure commences in Marrakech, a city of vibrant colors and bustling markets. Depart towards the desert, traversing the High Atlas Mountains and winding through the stunning Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Explore Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” and visit the historic Kasbah Taourirt. Continue through the Draa Valley, adorned with palm groves and ancient kasbahs, until you reach the tranquil town of Zagora. Unwind in the desert ambiance and prepare for the deeper desert exploration in the days to come.

Day 2:Dades Valley - Todra Gorges – Merzouga Sahara Desert

An exhilarating journey deeper into the desert. Travel through the Draa Valley and continue south to M’hamid, the gateway to the Sahara. From M’hamid, venture off-road to reach the magnificent Erg Chegaga, a remote and pristine expanse of sand dunes. Experience the thrill of conquering the towering dunes by 4×4, or for a more authentic experience, opt for a camel trek. As the sun sets over the Erg Chegaga dunes, revel in the tranquility of the desert before spending a night under the starlit sky in a traditional Berber camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate

Wake up to the ethereal beauty of the Sahara and embark on the journey back towards civilization. Return to M’hamid and then proceed to Zagora, retracing the steps through the enchanting landscapes. Take in the scenery of the Draa Valley once more before making your way back to Marrakech. As the expedition concludes, reflect on the vast desert horizons, the warmth of Berber hospitality, and the unforgettable moments that make this 3-day adventure an indelible part of your Moroccan experience.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Tizi N Tichka - Marrakech

Embark on the final leg of your journey, crossing the Tizi N Tichka pass as you descend from the High Atlas Mountains. Marvel at the changing landscapes and traditional Berber villages along the way. Arrive back in Marrakech, where the expedition concludes, leaving you with a treasure trove of memories from the diverse and enchanting landscapes of Morocco.
